On behalf of the British Columbia Technical and Research Committee on Reclamation (BC TRCR), please accept this request for audiovisual materials of reclamation efforts at your BC mine operation(s) for use at the 49th Annual British Columbia Mine Reclamation Symposium to be held from September Sept 21st to 24th in Fort St. John, BC.
We are looking for good quality video footage including narration. All reclamation topics are encouraged and will be considered. If your footage is selected by the TRCR committee for the symposium, it may be produced with footage from other sites into a Virtual Mine Tour and be presented live during the symposium. During film production, we may require sound bites or other documents, such as maps and still photos, for our use to add value to the virtual tour. The footage does not have to have been captured solely this year, and if you have older footage to help illustrate the ‘before and after’, that would be most welcome.
2026 TRCR Virtual Mine Tour – Video Footage Request
If you are interested in providing footage, please contact me to arrange. We are asking for confirmation of participation by July 31st, 2026, and submission of footage by September 4th, 2026, to allow time for video compilation and production.
On behalf of the BC TRCR, thank you in advance for helping us provide the best experience possible to our mine reclamation community. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out by phone or email. We are looking forward to seeing everyone in person this fall!
Sincerely,
Kelly Dubé
