2025 Jake McDonald Scholarship Awards: The TRCR is pleased to announce that its 2025 Jake McDonald Memorial Scholarship recipient went to Thompson Rivers University Masters of Science students Rabeya Shikdar Orpa and Zhaohui (Sunny) Han. In addition, Rabeya won the judged poster session for her work on “Reviving Native Ecosystems: Harnessing Soil Amendments to Reclaim Plant Communities in Post-mine Environments”.
